[Collection of ten sermons], [ca. 1649-1653].

Manuscript, in a single secretary hand, of a collection of ten sermons by such Puritan authors as Thomas Thacher, Arthur Jackson, Henry Stubbs, and other Puritan divines. The sermons are on such topics as the covenant of grace; why one should abide within Christ; the encouragement of the saints against the appearance of death; the iniquity of usury; the importance of being not only well-willers but well-doers in matters of salvation; and the burden of sin. Five of the sermons appear dos-a-dos.
